Sergio Ramos has finally put an end to the speculation surrounding his future by agreeing a new five-year contract at Real Madrid, the La Liga side say.
Real will hold a press conference at 12:30 BST on Monday to formally announce Ramos' new deal, which runs to 2020, with president Florentino Perez in attendance.
Ramos, who has been with the 2013-14 Champions League winners since 2005, was the subject of a bid from Manchester United earlier in the summer.
The 29-year-old was rumoured to be unsettled at the Santiago Bernabeu, but was named los Blancos captain in July, in an attempt to keep him at the club.
The Spain international and World Cup winner has made just shy of 450 appearances since arriving from Sevilla.
